Trip Map

Iceland

Spend the morning touring Copenhagen by foot as bicycles zip past.  Then grab my bag head back to the airport.

Crap my gear is heavy when the bike is boxed.  Only took the third train to the airport the wrong direction two stops.  Airline keeps my checked luggage (boxed bike) as I spend a long layover in Copenhagen.  Back in Copenhagen, full circle.  Copenhagen is filled with bikes as I walk to my hostel I miss my bike.  I read that there were major floods where I was in Greece a few days ago.

Real

Tour more of Athens on my bike.  Able to get to the ruins further out.  Finish boxing the bike out back of the hostel just as the afternoon rain begins.  Sad having the bike boxed and the trip ending.

Off to the hills.  First I ride east to a fortified church.  It is not open and the rain begins.  I head south into the hills.  At a fork in the road half way up the hills I decide that I am not felling inspired to continue.  I turn and ride quickly back to Sibiu.  Then hop a train to Brasov.

I am into the hills south of Sibiu.  There are two fortified churches in the area that I tour.  Then back to Sibiu.  I spot on one of the three maps I am using a fortified church nearby Sibiu.  It is not as well preserved as other churches.
