We ride down thought hilly county. Cross the equator on the highway where there is no sign to indicate the crossing. We are n the south half og the world. Long ride up a valley in the afternoon. Passing farms growing growing flower for the world market.

The road down is adventurous with mud and car size holes. Finally get to a nice canal road for some easy riding which leads us to needing to ride across fields and out a large farm gate which was luckily open. Up to Cochasqui pyramid ruins. Big pyramid mounds that just show where the poles holes were for the wooden structure that use to be there. They did have some nice retracted wood structures. Next to the ruins they had a very nice campground.

After of a day eating well we head out on a cobble stone road. Just 18 k of cobble stones to Laguna Caricocha. Road is flooded by Laguna Caricocha so we go crosscountry to go around the flooding. We continue a little further to Laguna Chinacu to camp.
