Tan Tan

To Tan Tan the ride is long with some minor hills.  We begin the Sahara.  It is time to follow the bleached bones to the south. Only 1100k from Tangier, we are not half way down the Moroccan coast.  The desert is opening up to us.

Rest day
Re tape the bike where the bags are wearing though the rack.  Filling the tires cause another leak at the valve stem.  Change the front tire to the 2" XR.  Add more food and water to my load and six more liters of water.

Mirhleft

Cloudy morning as I head to Mirhleft.  Pick up some food for the Sahara in the market.  Then do a quick ride to Mirhleft.  I had to pick up some stones for some dogs getting aggressive ahead of me.  It is something the dog know and back off with the mere threat of a raised throwing arm.  Cindy wanted pizza for lunch.

Got an early start heading back to Tiznit.  Not as much fun going back the way I came.  It was faster as I got an earlier start and was more down hill than up.  I made it to Tiznit by mid afternoon.

More hills

I head south today to explore a little.  Do not go to the painted rocks ( Belgium artist painting boulders various colors and calling it art) 
Instead headed up a pass to Talaoute.  I decided not to go down the other side.  Just to come back up.  After finding a cold drink I am on the road back to Tafraoute.  I spent the afternoon repairing gear air mattress, tent, and cycle gloves.
