Morning rain has me sleep in.
I ride a few miles to the ferry and see ferry leave as I approach. I stand in the rain for an hour waiting for
the ferry to return. As I ride I find it
easy going. Then the sign shows 9% grade going up. The climb is long as I snake my way up. This leads to a long fjord. I spend the rest of the day going around the fjord. I camp I am hoping I am a foot above high
tide. I go to sleep as the tide comes
in. The tide has already come up 2
meters.
