5/9/18

I

nto wind and take 2 hours to go ten miles. Then turn and get some tail wind. Each bend in the road has me fighting the wind or tacking with a slight tail wind. Then the wind picked up and the cross wind would knocked me around. 60 kilos of bike and gear are being blown over. I walked trying to keep the bike going straight. It is slow going.  Going around a point I get switching winds. I try to ride and making short distances each time. I made it over fifty miles which surprises me as I look for sheltered camp.  I find a moss covered spot in a lava field.
Love and kisses
