Nimes

Nimes
I got an early start with food on my mind.  Found a bakery and back roads into town.  Took a quick look at the temple and then off to the coliseum.  I like this one better than Rome’s as it was built with big blocks and is still mainly intact.  Rome used bricks and much of the façade is gone.  From twenty five years ago they have now put in guard rails using cheap iron work which takes from the place.  This is a coliseum where man and beast still face each other.  The people coming here come to see rick and should feel some if they are careless and walk off the side.  From Nimes I head west to Montpellier.

I find the camp but it is on the other side of the canal.  It is only couple more miles to get the 100 feet I need to be on the other side of the canal.
