Razanac

In Novalja I got bike map from the tourist office. Put me on rocky dirt road. Seeing I was passing the place I should cut over to the other side of the island. I took the next side road towards the main road a half mile away. The route turned to a track and then to trail between two stone walls. There were thorn bushes of various types along the wall and into the trail. The walls would make it hard to turn the bike around. So I pushed on and when I got to the road remove thorns from me, the bike tires, and bike bags (they may not be waterproof any more. Then looking down saw if I had continued a bit more I could have taken a nice road up here without spilling a drop of blood. I crossed the island and continued to the town of Pag. Not much to see Pag so I continued off the island. Pulling into the town Razanac I found the ATM did not like my bank card. Fortunately the camp was cheep and so I could afford camp and dinner. Other wise it was 14k to Zadar for money. I should have gotten money earlier in the day.

9/5/10
40.5 miles 5:02 hr / max speed 30.2 / avg moving speed 8.0 / stopped time 5.59 / 1816 ft total ascent. (Sunny with heavy rain in the night)
Love & kisses
